Summary
The Lead IT Engineer’s role is to plan, coordinate, and manage activities related to the design, development/integration, and implementation of information systems, software applications, and databases. The Lead IT Engineer will manage IT service platform, ERP, and WMS systems to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure 24/7 global operations. The Lead IT Engineer is also responsible to maintain, support, and upgrade existing SAP systems. Coordinates project phases from development to installation. Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
2. Designs and maintains the website of the company.
3. Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations. Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
4. Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
5. Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions. Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
6. Develop annual IT budgets, monitor spending versus the planned budget throughout the year and take corrective action where needed.
7. Act as IT project lead for SAP implementation and business system process reviews at the company level.
8. Develop functionality, conceptual designs, and process flows in SAP to meet business requirements.
9. Perform SAP system configuration and troubleshooting, as needed.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Required:
1. Master's degree in Computer Engineering
2. At least 12 months of experience as IT Support Engineer, Lead IT Engineer, or other related fields
3. Experience with ITIL4, WMS and ERP
4. Ability to travel to customer sites in the US as needed
Salary Range: $90,000 to $104,000/annually
